After being allowed to move the shack into the house, I had to stuff the equipment into a computer armoire.

The main rig is the FT-2000 DXing & contesting on CW, RTTY & SSB. I picked up the FT-897D after selling my FT-1000D and it is mainly for the 2 and 70 cm bands during VHF/UHF contests with 6 meters on the FT-2K. (It also is fun to monitor Oakland Center on the VHF aircraft frequencies as well as the commercial FM band.) I plan on adding a computer interface and dedicating that radio to PSK for those DX stations that show up on that mode. There is also an FT-8900 for VHF/UHF FM but I think I have only had 3 or 4 contacts on the repeaters. The next project is beams for 6, 2 & 432 contests. Currently, I use my HF tribander for 6 and a Diamond vertical for 2 & 432.

The rolling printer cart holds a Ten-Tec Centurion ( 2 x 3-500's ) and a recently repaired Ten-Tec Titan 425 ( 2 x 3CX800A7's). Either of these is fed from the FT-2000 by moving the cables. If the Titan manages to hold up, that will become the main amp. The amps feed the T-T tuner through the old Heathkit SB-610 scope that I built sometime around 1967 with a spare there just in case. The Motorola Spectra is for 903 FM.
