W6SR
Placerville

The tower on the left supports a DX Engineering 10-17M Log-periodic (10 elements on a 24’ boom) on a 50’ tower.
The tower on the right supports a 2 element HB 30M beam at 70’, a 3 element HB 20M beam at 78’ and a 5 element M2 6M beam at 84’.

The second photo shows the 3rd tower at W6SR. It is 70’ of Rohn 25, with a 10’ Alum. mast out the top, it is located on the lower part of our property about 300’ from the house It supports a Force 12 C3E at 72’ and a HB rotating dipole for 40M at 80 feet. I shunt-feed the tower on 160M and it is a top-loaded vertical on that band. It also supports my 3 element 80M vertical-beam array. The other verticals that surround the periphery of the tower are a 3 element vertical (triangle array) beam for 40M. There are over 8200 feet of radials on the ground that makes everything work.
OK, the 756 Pro III feeds an AL-1200 Power Amp and I also
have a HB Russian Tube GS-35B that will soon be integrated into the system.
Both are 1500+ watt output amps. I use an N6JV design, 6M PA with a 3-500Z
at 800W output on 6M. On the receive side, I use 4 beverage antennas N/E, E,
S/W and JA/Pac they range in length from 300 to 700' long.
